September Shape Up
With cooler temperatures ahead in the coming months, September is a sensational time to discover the secrets to a scrumptious, steaming bowl of soup. Join Chef Ha Roda (featured on the cover of September Books & Beyond newsletter) for the first in a series of six workshops on Vietnamese cuisine. Each month will feature a different specialty including September's dish - Vietnamese soup. Join us for a delicious adventure at the Orlando Public Library on Saturday, September 4 at 2 p.m.
If your child suffers from Attention Deficit Disorder and/or ADHD, you may be considering treatment with Ritalin. The decision to medicate your child is not one made lightly. We'll help you take the riddle out of Ritalin when Dr. Yen Nguyen visits the Orlando Public Library on September 4 to share reasons why Ritalin may or may not be right for your child.
If you're on the east side of town, you'll want to check out World of Wildlife at the Alafaya Branch. This is your chance to meet ambassadors from World of Wildlife and hear their animal stories. World of Wildlife specializes in educational lectures and reptile parties. The fun starts September 11 at 2 p.m. Hope to see you there!
