Edely was featured as "Someone You Should Know" in the April 2006 issue of Windermere Lifestyle magazine where she shared her miraculous story of recovery and healing.

Edely holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Central Florida (1997). She began her study of Yoga in 1983, two years after a serious road accident that took the lives of more than thirty people and confined her to a wheel chair or bed for the same period of time. Unable to walk, she dedicated the next five years to an intense study of Yoga. She read innumerable Yoga books in four different languages and practiced with a private Yoga instructor for almost two years. Through this unique combination of events, she acquired a method that not only restored her capacity to walk but contradicted the medical statement that she would never be able to walk without support. From 1988 to 1992 studied in the Andre Van Lysebeth Yoga School in Brussels (Belgium) for one month per year.

Edely is a certified yoga teacher in several yoga traditions such as Kripalu, Iyengar and Sivananda. Have also studied with Eric Schiffman, Gary Kraftsow and Rama Berch. Edely has been teaching Yoga nationally and internationally for 17 years, holds the position of Yoga Consultant for “Orange County Public Schools”, Executive Board Member (Treasurer) of the National Yoga Alliance, founder and director of Yoga and Health Center of Orlando - YHCO.
