Al Aki Origami Exhibit September-October 2006

Local artist, Al Aki is well-known to the Southwest Library community. This is Mr. Aki's fourth origami exhibit at the library since 2003. His origami pieces are always popular with children and adults. He has also taught several origami classes for children and adults at the library. Mr. Aki has been a origami teacher and demonstrator for many years and owns his own business Origami by Aki. He also is involved in missionary work and acting.

Mr. Aki's origami exhibit will be on display at the Southwest Library during September and October in the circular display located in the center of the library.

Experienced paper folders plan to attend Mr. Aki's class, "Advanced Origami" on Saturday, September 23 at 12:30 p.m. Registration is required and the completion of a "crane" prior to attending the class.
