Sandra Namur Art Exhibit
The Southwest Library is pleased to present "A Mother's Peace: Paintings in the Impressionism Style," an exhibit by local artist Sandra Namur. Sandra's paintings will be on display October through December.
Sandra was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She completed her first picture at age five and has not stopped creating art. She is a master of drawing and other art techniques. Sandra has won numerous awards for her art from around the world including Brazil, Paris and Mexico. In 2004, her painting "Paris Garden" (shown above on right) was on exhibit at the Orlando Museum of Art. Sandra is married and a mother of two sons. Her greatest artistic inspiration is the 19th century Impressionist painters. But she draws much inspiration from her family too. In fact, family and painting bring much peace to her heart.
