Portraits of Hunger Exhibit

Portraits of Hunger is an award-winning photography exhibit showcasing the faces of individuals and families in need in Central Florida. This exhibit developed as a way to bring visibility to the invisible problem of hunger in our community.

The photos were taken by local amateur and professional photographers who interacted with the individuals and families in need, the agencies providing food, and the volunteers lending a hand. The exhibit makes its permanent home at the Second Harvest Good Bank of Central Florida. A traveling exhibit such as this one at Southwest Library is available for select events and community awareness activities. The exhibit is sponsored by Albertsons.

Portraits of Hunger is on exhibit at the Southwest Library January-February 2007. For more information about hunger in our community and donations, go to www.foodbankcentralflorida.org
