Southwest Gets New Wall Color

The last phase of the remodeling projects at Southwest Library funded by Dr. Phillips Rotary Club got underway last week. The "back area" (aka our art gallery, reading area, laptop center, second meeting room, and relatively quiet study area) got a new coat of paint. The custom color appropriately named "southwest reading room" adds a dash of sophistication and splash of vibrancy to the area. Staff and patrons alike love the new color.

In the weeks ahead, wall panels, new coverings for the chairs, additional plants, new carpet border and other assessories will be added to the area. The Reference and Large Print sections have been moved to make room for the remodeling changes.
