Summer Reading Program - Trip to Japan July 23
On July 23, Southwest Branch shelver, Kahori Sora-Choukroun aka Jasmine took kids on a trip to Japan -but this trip included no baggage and airports. Jasmine shared stories and articles of interest from her native country of Japan. Some of which included a kimono, books written in Japanese, a mini-Zen garden, and Japanese fans. Participants even got a chance to practice using chopsticks and to make their own fans.
