Vesternel Coleman Painting and Photography Exhibit April - June 2009

V Coleman The Hidden City.jpgVesternel Coleman's exhibit, Discovering Art through Painting and Photography runs April through June at the Southwest Library. Vesternel is a freelance artist, graphic designer and photographer. She has loved the arts since childhood. She started painting professionally in 2003. She has a degree in graphic design. Vesternel's exhibit features abstract paintings, black and white photography, montage and digital art. Her abstract paintings reveal the beauty of nature through the use of vivid colors; while her photography and digital imaging capture the splendor of everyday surroundings. Her latest work titled "Just Woman" is dedicated to all women. The abstract painting shown is titled, The Hidden City.

The public will have opportunity to meet Vesternel at a Meet the Artist event scheduled at Southwest Library on June16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
