Java Lounge: Teen Open Mic Night

TUNE IN! Teen Tech Week 2008
Teens can you hear me?!? Are you out there? I know you are so tune in or tune out. Teen Tech Week is here and I have my music turned up. Come out for fun programs to celebrate Teen Tech Week. Lots of stuff to do and there is even a rad podcast to do. That's right, I said PODCAST! Make sure you submit a podcast to our Record Now contest and before you leave me to get started make sure you blog and give me the run down of your favorite music ever. List a band, a song, or a beat. Gotta go guys my song is playing and I have to turn it up!

Twilight Prom!
Are you a fan of the books Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse? Well then sink your teeth into a night of music, contests and fun based on the Twilight series. The readergirlz divas and YALSA will be hosting 31 of your flavorite authors for 31 days in October -- all in honor of Teen Read Week. From vamps to vampires, the creators of your favorite characters in YA lit will chat nightly at on a group forum at 5 PM PST/8 PM EST (with the exception of the Halloween chat, which will be held at 9 PM PST/MIDNIGHT EST). Are you ready to rock!!!
So the library is always ready to rock. Did you catch us at Warped Tour? The library represented under the Take Action Tent and had a great time. Teens night out was a blast with DJ Freefall and performance by Battle of the Bands winners Funk Alchemy. If you missed it don't worry the parties aren't over. In fact, August 14th , 7 p.m. in Library Central brings the Wizard Rock Concert we have all been waiting for. Performances by the Whomping Willows and the Remus Lupins. Teen Volunteer & the WWE

WWE is one of the biggest companies around the world. I myself am a huge fan and next year on March 28th, 2008 the Orlando Public Library will be having some WWE superstars next year so don't miss it. WWE stands for World WIde Entertainment. My fav wrestler is Bobby Lashley, and he is the ECW World Champion. He beat up Chairman of the Board. You should start watching Smackdown, raw and ECW.
