~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~X-treme Disappointment~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HEY!! did anyone see X-Men: The Last Stand yet?? if you havent yet...DONT WASTE YOUR $$$!!!!! and if you already have, then i feel EXTREMELY sad and sorry for you. it was major MONKEY BUTTS!!
ok, sure. so it had some good action...the what makes a movie is its story. and this one sucked. the plot was horrible. it didnt stick to the original comics and dialogue was corny and lame. this movie doesnt even deserve the X-MEN franchise!
OK. The whole Jean Grey returning as Phoenix was completely off track. In the comic book series, Phoenix is an alien life form using Jeans body and in turn bringing her back to life (so she turns into a schizophrenic fireball.) Instead the plot made the Phoenix into a split personality that she has had since childhood. WHAT THE JUNK IS THAT?!
======================================================================================
Angel was only in about three scenes. Also in the movie they make Juggernaut a mutant, which he is not. On top of that, theres a massacre of main characters. Lets see who dies: They go off and kill Scott Summers(aka Cyclops), and the Phoenix is the one that kills him. Then the Phoenix kills PROFESSER CHARLES XAVIER!!! and towards the end Jean Grey is herself killed by Wolverine. To make matters worst, Mystique is "cured" and becomes human. Naturally Magneto turns his back on her and is eventually “cured” as well. And if that wasn't bad enough ROGUE!!!! is voluntarily
"cured". They all lose there MUTANT ABILITIES!!! AHHHHH !@#$%^&*!!! whats the world coming to?!
And at the end of the movie you're left with the feeling that something went very, VERY wrong along the writing of this script. Like the writers all sat down in a meeting room and said, "This is what were gonna do...were gonna piece all these COOL things together and make it look AWSOME!! Lets do the Pheonix thing...and the cure. Now...lets kill him...and him...and her...and her...heck! LETS KILL EVERYONE!! YAY!! We have a script and it only took us 30 minutes!
^.^ "
I feel like I wasted my money on this. I actually heard some obvious fans at the end saying things like "I stayed up for this?!" Overall this movie is missing something, a better plot. I suggest saving you're money. Nothing will "cure" this X-Men flop. [I give it a VERY low C- ]
|:.:| BTW, word of advice to anyone anywhere
translating world renown comic book series to
film: DON’T STRAY FROM THE ORIGINAL PLOT!!
Theyre engraved in stone people! Don’t remake
haha yea i teriously agree...for those who dnt kno the lingo yet:teriously=totally seriously=
x-men broke my heart. i went to see it in pj's and doogie slippers at 12 midnite...wow...i shouldve watch stayed at home and watched late night reruns or music videos.....but anyways.....a good thing about the movie was that the plot sticks in your mind and makes you wonder....really like who was angel in movie....why did he show up in the middle of nowhere...or why did he have to die....why isnt wolverine wearing that stupid yellow suit....anyways the plot sticks in ur head and makes you kinda watch it again when it comes out on on basic cable three nights in a row.....
X-met was a disappointment! Why did everyone have to die and some so unceremoiously! Like how was Scott just obliterated in the air and never heard from again? The only thing left of him after 3 movies was his sunglasses! and prof x? and jean grey? They'll have to create a new x-men or have some extremely convoluted plot just to attempt to have another movie. Yeah, I was super siked to go to see this movie and was really disappointed. The only really good thing was to finally see Beast in the films. I love beast! so smart & so animalistic!
