A note about the animals by Allyson the volunteer

hoot.jpg
A loud noise breaks out in the sky, birds flee with wild screeching! All at once, everything stops and the air is still. A man stomps through the bushes, crushing everything in his way. He bends down and picks up a small animal, limp and cold. It is dead. There is once word for this act, POACHING. Hunters go into the wild and kill large and small "game", for multiple reasons. Jewelry, decorations, clothing, and sadly even trophies. To them, these creatures have no soul, no heart and mind. Because the animals have no literal voice, they cannot be heard. But we can help them talk, by talking for them. Animals contribute to this world as much as we do. Help them be heard, stop their oppresion, let them live.

I sympathize man, poor lil' creatures. The library should like, hold a fundraising drive to help protect 'em.
